Angst: Breaking the Stigma around Anxiety

In an effort to raise awareness, and start the conversation about anxiety, no matter your age. Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom, 4100 St. Catherine Street West, is hosting a screening of the film Angst: Breaking the Stigma around Anxiety on Saturday, February 17 at 12:45 pm at. The film looks at anxiety, its causes and effects and what the community as a whole can do about it.

The film was created by parents and educators who have personal experience with anxiety. The focus of the film is teens.

After viewing the film, organizers will facilitate a conversation they believe will make transparency about anxiety accessible and timely. The Temple is dedicated to creating a warm, safe and welcoming community where it hopes everyone can find connection and acceptance.
