The History of 318 Victoria Ave. A talk by Doreen Lindsay .



On Saturday, December 2 at 1 p.m. long time Westmount resident, noted photographer, Westmount historian and Past President of the WHA Doreen Lindsay will  present an historical overview of the businesses that have occupied the retail space at  318 Victoria Avenue

Doreen has been taking photographs of the people and their businesses in that location  since the days of Art Lenders gallery. She is giving the presentation to  commemorate the one year anniversary of present occupant Leonidas Culture Chocolate.

Photographs of the five businesses since 1960 will be on exhibit.

They include

Brickpoint Needlework               1998 to 2013

Art Rebel 318a                               2004 to 2012

Le Frame Shoppe 318a                2013 to today

Leonidas Culture Chocolate       2016 to today
