Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Many household, automotive and gardening products are even more harmful to the environment if improperly discarded.  Hazardous or toxic products must not go in the regular garbage nor down the drain, but should instead be brought to the Hazardous Waste Collections:

On Saturday, September 23  from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the City will host its annual fall hazardous  waste collection in the Westmount Public Library parking lot, 4574 Sherbrooke Street West.

The City of Westmount hosts a special collection day each spring and fall when residents may bring products for safe disposal. The City does not have any permanent facility for hazardous waste. Bring your paint cans, solvents, batteries, old electronics, used clothing, and more.
