Let’s Eat Together: Celebrating Canada’s 150th at Provigo St. Jacques

Not wanting anyone should go without a great Canada Day Barbecue, Provigo St. Jacques, 6600 St. Jacques West, hosted  a community celebration barbecue on Thursday, June 29 . Although it was cold and rainy, that did not deter families and individuals of all generations who queued up for not only great barbecued burgers, hot dogs and chicken presented by chef Philip Farkhri,but also for seating under the tarpaulin.

In addition to great barbecue and all the accouterments that go with that, guests also enjoyed live jazzy music performed by a duo of young talented musicians who are part of the orchestra at Ecole St. Luc.

 

 

The event was hosted by Grace Lo Dico, Coordonnatirce Marketing. ” We wanted to unite individuals from the community or from different boroughs to take a moment and sit together to enjoy a meal, as well as the company of not being alone, while celebrating Canada’s 150th.
