Welcome to Around Westmount Issue 11

Hello and welcome to Around Westmount Issue 11, a continuation of last week’s Issue 10.

This week we have the privilege to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation, the birth of our beloved Canada. Westmount style! The city has organized a not to be missed gala celebration for all day and evening Saturday, July 1 at Westmount Park.

This year the fun begins the evening before on June 30 with the unique event PJs and Stories and Movies, Oh My! with Westmount author of the classic Hockey Sweater Roch Carrier who will take participants on a tour of the book through Westmount Park.

And you can even celebrate Canada at the Westmount Public Library by having your photo taken and superimposed on one of the library’s collection of over …. postcards.

And so much more fun. Enjoy.
