Raising our Kids in a Complex World

As part of its programming and initiatives to welcome interfaith families to Temple El Beth Shalom, the Jewish Interfaith Family Forum (JIFF), is hosting the program Raising our Kids in a Complex World  on Thursday evening, April 20 starting with a light dinner at 6:30 p.m followed by discussion at 7:15.

The purpose of the event is to focus on how we foster the richness and face the challenges of bringing together families of two backgrounds. Together participants will  explore blending different family traditions and creating new traditions.

Facilitators are  School Counselor Betty Goldwarg,  and Minna Shulman, Dean of Students at Selwyn House School.

Betty Goldwarg has had an extensive experience as a school counselor and psychotherapist in private practice. Minna Shulman is presently the Dean of Students at Selwyn House School where she has worked with many families. Rabbi Lisa Grushcow will moderate the discussion.
